Victoria Park Nova ScotiaAfter our morning whale watching in Tiverton and our evening seafood dinner in Digby we headed east. Saturday night we made it back from Digby to Truro, north of Halfax. Sunday, late morning, we grabbed a quick picnic lunch in Truro's Victoria Park, a place we'd like to return to and explore, before heading for Cape Breton Island.

In fact, if you look closely you'll see on the map Nova Scotia street Truro. Yes, a few of Truro's streets are on the map, surrounding the park.
Since we didn't fly over Truro we couldn't include a nice aerial photo of Nova Scotia of this region.
The trails in the park aren't exactly rugged, so I don't think you'd consider this a top hiking trail in Nova Scotia (especially if you were looking for a Nova Scotia hiking tour.)
Perhaps it would be more aptly described as a Nova Scotia walking trail.
After leaving Truro, we passed by New Glasgow and stopped in Antigonish.
