We had just come from the towns of New Glasgow and Antigonish and were headed onto Cape Breton Island. The Canso Causeway links mainland Nova Scotia to Cape Breton Island. From there we headed up and got a glimpse of St. George's Bay.

Lynn can't pass up a good photo opportunity with a wooden puffin. So we stopped on the mainland side of the Canso causeway. One we got on our way and crossed the causeway we headed clockwise around the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. Out of the driver side window we could eventually barely see the mainland across St. George Bay.
