Louisbourg Fortress Nova Scotia:
Nova Scotia Sydney Tourism

Camping across the province makes for a cheap Nova Scotia vacation. Last night we camping in the town of Louisbourg.

But at the other end of the spectrum of summer fun is a Nova Scotia ski vacation.

This location should be on any CA map Nova Scotia.

To bad you couldn't rent part of this site as a Nova Scotia oceanfront vacation rental.

And then of course if they made the re-enactments a little more exciting year-round you could probably promote this as an adventure Nova Scotia vacation.

This fort in Nova Scotia is so close to Sydney, it should be considered part of Nova Scotia Sydney tourism.

So whether you spell it "department Nova Scotia tourism" or "dept Nova Scotia tourism," they definitely should get credit for helping put this great fort in Nova Scotia on the CA map Nova Scotia.

The government of Canada has restored this fort in Nova Scotia, the Fortress of Louisbourg, to it's state as it would have been in 1744. When the British last demolished the fort, they left the rubble as it lay. Due to the undisturbed site and documented inventories of the fort, archaeologists and historians were able to reconstruct using much of the original materials and were able to rebuild the fortress to a condition that impresses one as being 'authentic.'

Of course if you tried to advertise this fortress as a cottage Nova rent Scotia vacation, you'd definitely want to include photos!

Joke: Why did the Nova Scotia golfer visiting this fort carry a second pair of pants with him?

Answer: Because he expected to get a hole in one!

Not exactly a true Nova Scotia golf vacation?

I guess that joke makes about as much sense as saying "Nova properties rental Scotia vacation" when you really meant to say "Nova Scotia rental properties for vacation."

This exercise in community development history in Nova Scotia is a vertiable Nova Scotia History tour.

We should have gotten a map of Fort Louisbourg at the visitor's center before we bussed out to the fortress itself.

We next went to Glace Bay to visit the Marconi National Monument and Museum, so we left the Fortress of Louisbourg.
