Yesterday we saw Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg and the IMPRESSIVE fisheries museum, and made it into Halifax to our hotel.
Today (Saturday) we started self-touring around Halifax on foot.
Saturday morning came and we had our luggage. inContinental did get them to us last night. (Hey only 8 days into our 9 day trip.)
From the roof of the hotel I could see that downtown Halifax wasn't that aestheitcally appealing so I downgraded my expectation of taking lots of photos.
We ran across the 'old burial ground' of Halifax. Most of the graves there are older than the U.S.A. (pre-1776)
We would eventually go to aHalifax museum, which had Titanic artifacts, after that we'd go to a cemetery where victims of the Titanic sinking were buried.
