Near Peggys Cove Nova Scotia CampgroundThis campground is near Peggys Cove Nova Scotia, home of the famous Peggys Cove Light House. We'd just come from the Nova Scotia Wildlife Park and we set up camp just quick enough before leaving to go get dinner. Here's where we stayed Thursday night. The photos of Yankee Harbour are of the same harbor that our tent over looks. Peggy's Cove is only a few miles away. We're going to hit it in the morning BEFORE the tour busses arrive at Peggys Cove NS.  This was one of the most convenient campground in Nova Scotia we stayed at.

Although this isn't the side of the province where we'd expect to do it, I could easily envison a nice time camp kayak sea touring here.
As many miles of coastline that there are in Nova Scotia I'm surprised are aren't more like this camp grounds ocean shore style. It felt like a true-blue Nova Scotia camp site, but was only one of several camp grounds in Nova Scotia that we stayed at. In some ways it was my favorite, because the surrounding scenery was magnificent, driving up and down the coastline on scenic roads.
I'm surprised how close it was to camp Halifax Nova Scotia site. It's just as far from Halifax and Peggy's Cove, since Peggy Cove is close by.
Guess who I'm on the phone with. Yes, the sun is heading down. Yes, my wife is hungry and in the car waiting for me to get done talking with inContinental.
After setting up camp, and making a quick call we headed to find dinner. We ended up at Moore's Landing On our way back from Moore's Landing to the campground, we grabbed some Tim Horton's donuts.
