Car Rentals in Nova ScotiaAlthough you could car hire in Nova Scotia, we chose to rent a car.There were several car rentals in Nova Scotia to choose from. And since we had flown into Halifax, we selected from one of the companies that offer their cars in Halifas. Rental Cars in Nova ScotiaJust like any other major metropolitan area, Halifax rental cars in Nova Scotia are well equipped to take you throughout Nova Scotia. In fact, we ferried out of Nova Scotia and into Prince Edward Island. We drove across Prince Edward Island and back in our rental car from Halifax Nova Scotia, and then at the end of our trip we returned our rental car to the company location in Halifax before leaving the province via air.Car Rentals in Halifax Nova ScotiaSince the airport we flex into was in Halifax, we chose car rentals in Nova Scotia over car rentals in Dartmouth. Nothing against Dartmouth, but it would've been silly to take a shuttle or taxi across to Dartmouth from our Halifax hotel.Car Rentals in Dartmouth Nova ScotiaIn Dartmouth, car rentals are quite reasonable as are the ones across the way in Halifax. Not sure if companies with locations in one city but not the other make a game of it competing, but by golly I bet they want to compete with car rentals in Dartmouth Nova Scotia anyway. |
